SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara cross country begins a stretch of competitions in four straight weeks at the San Francisco State Invitational Friday, Oct. 9 at Golden Gate Park s Hellman Hollow Meadow. The event starts with the women s 6k race at 3:30 p.m., followed by the men s 8k race at 4:15 p.m. The two races feature the largest field in the history of the SFSU Invitational. There are 290 runners in each race, 25 men s teams and 28 women s teams overall.
