SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Santa Clara cross country began the 2015 season with a pair of top five team finishes Saturday at the USF Invitational in Hellman Hollow Meadow. The Bronco women's team placed fourth in the 5k race and the men's team placed fifth in the 8k race; each field featured 13 teams. "I thought we accomplished what we set out to do," head coach Felipe Montoro said. "We were disciplined early and were able to execute the plan. On both sides, some freshmen really impressed and showed that they are ready to contribute right away."
